Our “Connections in Motion” program is designed to meet the unique needs of aging Seniors. One area that Seniors and their families are often seeking solutions for is Transportation. Whether you are looking for access to Transportation for routine errands and appointments or just every once in a while-Absolute Care Solutions can help. 

Losing driving Independence is often devastating to Seniors-changes in mobility, vision, or their overall health condition can leave Seniors feeling isolated and helpless. Even in the absence of physical decline, Seniors often choose to forgo driving long distances, during times of heavy traffic, or in the evening where visibility is more challenging. 

Connections in Motion is designed to keep Seniors safely Independent and connected to their community by enabling access to complete necessary errands and continue participating in activities they have always enjoyed. Examples include local routine transportation to the grocery store, post office, bank, pharmacy, or beauty salon.  As needed transportation for medical appointments, routine treatments, or following minor outpatient procedures. Or just for fun-social or church outings, shopping, or out to eat.

Unlike common ride share programs such as “Uber” or “Lyft” which require riders to be tech savvy and often leave Seniors feeling vulnerable with unknown answers to questions like: “Will I be able to easily get in/out of the vehicle?” “Will the driver be able to assist me from the door of my home to the vehicle?” or “Can the driver fold and stow my rolling walker?”  Our Charter Transportation Services are both “Senior Friendly” and “COVID Conscious”.  Our drivers are specially trained to meet the needs of Seniors and can provide assistance “Door to Door” or serve as an “Escort” to Seniors seeking assistance with not only transportation, but requiring someone to accompany them on their errands or during their appointment. With Absolute Care Solutions, you never have to worry about riding along with additional passengers. Rides are always 1:1 and our drivers are dedicated to safety & meeting the needs of each individual rider. Appointments are always booked in advance over the phone and customized to meet the individual rider’s needs leaving no unanswered questions. Our vehicles are sanitized between riders and drivers take additional precautions to ensure the safety of riders remains our utmost priority. Our drivers are capable and trained in safe passenger transfer assistance and our vehicles can accommodate both collapsed walkers and wheelchairs of riders should this be necessary. Please note however, that Absolute Care Solutions -DOES NOT offer wheelchair accessible transportation-where the rider is unable to safely transfer to the seat of the vehicle and must remain in their wheelchair for the duration of the transportation.
