Absolute Care Solutions, LLC is searching for a qualified individual willing to serve as a Personal Assistant to a very Active Senior living in the Spartanburg area -wishing to live independently at home and remain active in the community as long as possible. This role will require an organized and dependable individual capable of planning and scheduling weekly activities and social engagement opportunities of the Client’s interest. 

The Engagement Specialist will provide transportation and assist the Client with general errands, shopping, medical appointments, restaurant dining, and attending local community events. The ideal candidate needs to be creative, energetic, and flexible. Experience personally caring for or professionally working with Seniors with Dementia is preferred. This role offers a consistent part-time schedule Monday-Friday 11am-5pm (no weekends or holidays required!) 

Please Note: Interested Candidates must be able to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series to be considered for this role! 

Secondary requirements of this role: Home Support (which includes, but is not limited to light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning & preparation, home organization etc.) as well as some minimal Personal Care assistance.

Job Requirements

• At least 18 yo with a caring and compassionate personality

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Drug Free & Clean Criminal Background Record

• Reliable transportation with a Valid Driver’s License, Current Automobile Insurance and a Safe Driving Record

• Smart Phone Required
